Pigeons must have some sort of radar to detect evil intentions. When you plan to feed them they flock to you but if you try to catch them they fly away from your reach even if you don’t show them your traps. Here’s how to trap pigeons the easy way.
1. Use bait, lots and lots of bait. Bait can include cracked corn, rice may work but there are a lot of urban legends out there saying rice can kill pigeons it’s not true. Rice is food for the pigeons and you can use a lot of them to lure them in. Bread crumbs also work. A simple way to use bait as a trap is to spike them by soaking them in alcohol first before feeding them. This will knock out birds into your hands.
2. Use stainless metal cage traps. Stainless because pigeon droppings tend to rust most metals. There are some simple metal cage traps out there and they don’t need fancy mechanisms. A simple one with a funnel shaped entrance will do, pigeons go in and can’t come out.
