Camera Love: Why I Got My Digital Camera

Most recent uploadsI used to be a really big fan of a female Canadian pro wrestler (I live in New York) and decided to go all the way up to Montreal to see her. So because I wanted to be able to view my captured memories on my computer whenever I wanted, I bought myself the cheapest Fuji point and shoot I could afford to bring on my trip north. I ended up making over 10 trips up there in the next year, took hundreds of pictures and even started my own Yahoo group to share with other fans, as well as a photography directory. Then I realized I was wasting too much money on the monthly Greyhound trip and stopped going but hey, I still have my camera! Nowadays I just use it to take pictures of family and friends… despite being a measly 1 megapixels, it still takes more than higher enough quality photos to view on the PC.

Exciting Weekend Approaches

I can’t wait for next weekend because I’ll finally be getting hands on my new present. I’ve gone and bought myself a new DSLR, lens, and tripod. It also comes with a remote, so I can be snapping away at some awesome landscapes as well. I’ve also got myself a Canon photo printer, which I reckon is the best photo printer. My thinking is that in the long run it’ll work out way cheaper to print my photos myself at home, rather than taking them in to a shop and getting photos for some ridiculously exorbitant price, which makes no sense at all. I’ve also bought some equipment for making my own frames as I enjoy working with my hands (can you tell?) and want to print my own photos and frame them, and either sell them or put them up in my house. It’s going to be an exciting weekend!

When I first bought my iPhone I had a little bit of a struggle deciding if I wanted to buy the 16 gig or the 32, or the 64. I told myself that if I bought the 16 gig and then I realize I need more space I would just be kicking myself every single day for not spending the extra money for the more memory. However if I bought the 64 gig and at the end of the year I only filled up with eight gigs of space I would be disappointed that I spent so much money on a product that I’m just not really going to use to its full potential. So I decided that it was my best interest by the 32 gig iPhone. I can say that I am using this iPhone to its full. Coke Plans New Marketing Push

In 2010, Diet Coke inched into the number 2 spot as far as carbonated soft-drink sales are concerned and for the first time surpassed the sales of rival soft drink maker Pepsi by snagging almost 10% of the market. Interestingly, it seems that Coke is pushing their brand heavily in the later quarters of 2011 which represents a new marketing focus since the company usually puts most of its marketing dollars into advertising and seo company activities in the first quarter of the year. It would seem that Coke is looking to maintain that new number two spot for its Diet Coke brand and believes that pushing more advertising spending it will be able to hang onto that small lead over Pepsi.

The fall campaign that’s expected from Coke will likely include higher spending on the brand than in years past since the coke brand hasn’t been that impressive since Coke has been spending less on advertising during the economic downturn. The tone of the new fall campaign will be something that will appear more focused and not as generalized as older campaigns tended to be. We Got a Good System

We just installed some new VoIP phone systems, and it just feels good to be able to upgrade from a traditional phone system to this. I think that it will be more convenient to use, and it has all the features we could ever ask for. It is very nice to work for a company that can handle itself correctly. We are definitely keeping up with the times, and it just feels good to do so. Sometimes I feel like if I work for a company that is lagging behind, then I am preventing myself from advancing. I guess I honestly appreciate the efforts that my company has put into becoming a more superior company. I can’t wait to see what else they upgrade. I definitely think it is worth it for me to stick around for awhile, because this is the type of company that I can trust and be loyal to.

Thomas A Edison, not called the father of invention for nothing, with close to 1300 patents registered in his lifetime, would have has a field day in todays times. Just imagine his thoughts and input into the technology of today Which would be the BEST TABLET PCS for someone like him? Which TABLET PCS would have been Einstein’s choice? Which would be the BEST TABLET PCS for Leonardo, DaVinci, not Decaprio, with his artistic creativity? In a room, with Edison, Einstein and DaVinci, you would be sure to have your mind stretched, your convictions shaken and your knowledge questioned. But wouldn’t it be so worth it? I bet they would think of things we’ve not even scratch the surface of yet I wonder, if they had been the master minds behind todays technology, would the technology of today be the same, or different? My Experience with an Expert Witness After an Auto Accident

Until my wife was in a very serious car accident, I never knew the difference between an auto accident expert witness and a non-expert, or just regular, witness. But, because her case went to court, we became acquainted with what an expert witness is.

When my wife decided to sue the driver who was at fault in her accident, we were told by our lawyer that we would need an expert auto accident witness to strengthen our case. An expert witness is someone who, because of their scientific background, is able to put together the evidence of an accident scene to create a reconstruction of what happened. This will serve as the basis on which the judge and jury will decide the case.

Luckily, our expert witness did actually turn out to be an expert. He reconstructed the accident using a computer program and did it well enough that we convinced the judge and jury and won the case.

I Am My Own Boss

After fifteen years of working for other people I was ready to give something else a try. Even the bosses I had worked for that had something on the ball still did things differently they I would have if I was in their shoes. I wanted to call the shots and control my own life, not trust in someone else to do it. So when I heard that Windows Renew was looking for franchise partners in the computer repair field I was really interested. Id built a few computers myself over the years so I was really familiar with how they run and are put together so I thought computer repair was a good career for me to get into. I thought it would be a while before it really took off but to my surprise I was getting calls the very first week. I’m making more money now then I’ve ever made and I’m my own boss to boot.

Off to Astro Vision and Odyssey with Mandy

When mp3 files can be easily downloaded off the internet I thought this would put a ral damper on the music industry most particularly in the sales of music shops like Odyssey and Astro Vision. The last time I have been to these shops was back in my college days and that was like 3 to 4 years ago. With Mandy I went to visit them again last week and to be honest I was a bit surprised to see it was still there and still busy like before. As I was going through the DVD movies on sale I overheard one customer asked the sales man if he knows how to connect hdtv to pc. Mandy on the other hand was busy checking the headphones and earphones on display while I was contemplating whether I would buy a copy of The Phantom of the Opera which was on sale, a huge 50% discount tag attached to it. Though I have seen this movie over and over an original copy would be a marvelous collection.
