Most people know that their diet is a key factor to either avoiding or developing diabetes. If you eat mostly fatty and sugary foods you will be more susceptible to developing diabetes than if you eat a more well rounded and nutritious diet. Drinking soda especially will increase your risks. Your chances of avoiding diabetes increase dramatically by just cutting soda out of your diet. Doing so can cut your risk by at least a third. You can further reduce your risk by eating more fruits and vegetables and fewer chips. Once you break the fast food habit, you won’t even miss it.
It wasn’t so long ago that doctors thought that not much could be done to prevent the disease. A lot of people have the knowledge that sticking to a healthy lifestyle can often times be more than plenty to restrain the disease from taking place in your body.
