Competitive Business in Australia

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Catering is a business that is quite competitive in Australia especially in Sydney, the catering services sydney are very competitive, be it BBQ catering or finger food catering, the industry is heated. In this industry, the competition is fierce and if you want to open a business yourself, unless you have you a distinct menu of food from other services and please all the customers, you cannot survive in the business. But the basic thing is that in this business, all the raw materials that you use should be the best source that you have, otherwise the customers will not be happy. The catering services Sydney is something that you can consider as an example. In this area, catering has been diversified into different parts which include wedding catering, party catering, daily catering and many more with only on purpose is preventing from having too much markets and cannot satisfy all the customers. The business is fierce, that is why it needs niches type of service.

Where to Eat in Jersey City

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

I was recently sent out of town on business to New Jersey. I had never been to New Jersey before. I had clients to meet and impress. I started asking locals about restaurants Jersey City. Over and over, the restaurant Skinner’s Loft kept coming up as a place I needed to go. I went back to my hotel and got on my computer to search the World Wide Web for restaurants Jersey City. Skinner’s Loft ranked high here, also. I made a reservation for the following day for myself and my clients. I was very impressed with Skinner’s Loft. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was very professional. The food was amazing. They offered stuffed puff pastry bites, Prince Edward Island mussels, lobster BLTs, maple bourbon-glazed double cut pork chops, fresh black linguine with wild salmon, tarragon chicken salad club, warm roasted Portobello and butternut squash sandwich, honey yogurt parfait, eggs Florentine, and much more. This was a hit with my clients.

Julie and I Had a Saturday Movie Marathon

Sunday, November 7th, 2010

Julie and I spent last Saturday afternoon doing movie marathon of our favorite romantic comedy movies. She has a continuously growing list some of which actually coincided with mine and we decided to watch them last Saturday. One of the movies that we watched was Along Came Polly which stars Jennifer Aniston (I love her and I plan on watching all of her movies) and Ben Stiller. I think Jennifers character works as an outside caterer since there was a part of the movie where she was seen serving glasses of wine to guests at an art gallery. I love that movie though, Jens character is that of a fickle-minded and spontaneous lady who is very excellent at Salsa dancing. Another movie we watched was Serendipity (my all time favorite, I love John Cusack) and French Kiss (I also love Meg Ryan). Julie still has a lot of movies on her list which I have not seen and I think this Saturday movie marathon is a very good and cheap way of spending the weekend.

Masala Dosa: Delightful Vegetarian Dish

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Masala Dosa is my favourite dish – one which I love to prepare for my patrons, as a Derby caterer. It is one of the most famous Southern Indian dishes. This is purely a vegetarian dish and good for health. It is available wherever you go in Southern India.

Masala Dosa is also favourite food for present US secretory Hilary Clinton as an interesting tidbit of information. In our house we will prepare Masala Dosa once in a week without fail. For this dish you should mix rice and Urad dal. Keep this mix soaked in water overnight. Then we should keep tawa and put a small quantity of cooking oil on the tava. Then put the grinded paste as a thin layer on the tawa. Then fry the surface of the dosa (after frying this thin layer, the paste is called dosa).

With this dish, potatoes should be also be fried with small a quantity of cooking oil, mustard, green chillies and a little salt. These fried potatoes are called pallya. Finally, put this pallya onto the dosa. Now the Masala Dosa is ready to eat!
